Dear Brothers:

We praise the Lord for His blessing over the past twelve years in the work among Chinese-speaking students. Through the cooperation of the churches and the saints, more than ten thousand students and scholars have been saved and baptized in North America during this period of time, and are practicing the church life at various levels.

In recent years, we believe the Lord’s move in Northern California is to gain a new revival and to raise up the next generation of His recovery, who will be perfected in truth, in life, in vision, and in service, in order to practice the God-ordained way, so that the churches may multiply and propagate through our prayer and fellowship in one accord. For this burden, the Northern California churches will conduct a perfecting training for the Chinese-speaking students, working saints, and serving ones on July 28-30, 2016 in Fremont California. Co-workers from North America and overseas will come to support and strengthen this training. In addition to current students, we also strongly encourage the current and potential serving ones to register for this time. We need your steadfast prayers for this training.

Follow Up to Young Working Saints Retreat

May 6, 2015 | Posted by weilunc5 in Uncategorized - (0 Comments)
Dear saints,
We are writing to all the registrants of the recent Young Working Saints retreat, but this email is intended for all the working saints (those aged 25 to 50) in Northern California, including those who did not make the retreat.
The retreat this past weekend was a “historic” time, in which the Lord released a strong burden to all the working saints on our need to be numbered and formed into an army for the Lord’s present move. As a follow up to the retreat, Brother Minoru outlined some specific steps that the working saints can take to respond to the strong burden released this past weekend. These include:
  • Review the Recent Messages
    • Our brother encouraged us to review the conference messages in groups of twos and threes
    • The audio files of the messages are available at youngworkingsaints.org/media
  • Complete Reading and Study Assignments
    • Our brother also encouraged us to complete the reading and study assignments he gave during the retreat
    • This is also best done in groups of twos and threes
Below is the list of the ministry portions that Brother Minoru suggested for our reading and study (grouped by general topics):
  • Concerning the Working Saints
    • Messages Given to the Working Saints
    • All Ages for the Lord’s Testimony
  • Concerning Service
    • The Normal Way of Fruit-bearing and Shepherding for the Building Up of the Church
    • Talks Concerning the Church Services (Part 1)
    • Talks Concerning the Church Services (Part 2)
    • The Character of the Lord’s Worker, ch. 2, “A Lover of Men”
  • Concerning Psalm 68
    • All the footnotes on Psalm 68 in the Recovery Version of the Bible
    • Christ and the Church as Revealed and Typified in the Psalms, ch. 10, “Christ’s Attainment in His Ascension for the Building of God’s House”
    • How to Meet, ch. 14, ”By Praising Out of the Experiences of Christ”
    • Life-study of the Psalms, msg. 27, “Christ as the Center of God’s Move on the Earth (1)”
    • Life-study of the Psalms, msg. 28, “Christ as the Center of God’s Move on the Earth (2)”
  • Concerning Sisters
    • The Serving Sisters in the Church Life
    • The Loving Mothers in the Church Life
During the retreat, our brother also mentioned a time-management schedule that he put together to help the saints in budgeting their time for the Lord. We have included the schedule in the attached file.
May the Lord richly bless us all in our receiving and retaining the word spoken to us during the retreat, so that we may all be formed into an army for His present move.

NorCal 6th Grade Conference 4/29 – 5/1

January 1, 2015 | Posted by weilunc5 in Uncategorized - (0 Comments)

Dear Saints,

The Northern California 6 th Grade Conference will be held at Alliance Redwoods Conference

Grounds, April 29 May 1, 2016. The burden for this time is to bring the sixth graders to receive the Lord in a definite and solid way and to prepare them for a meaningful baptism. For the ones who may already be saved, the time will strengthen their faith and lay a foundation of assurance, security, and joy of salvation.

Please take note of the following items:

1. The conference is for sixth graders or seventh graders that did not have the opportunity to go while in sixth grade. We realize that a number of the younger ones have already been saved, and some have even been baptized by the time they are in fifth grade.

However, we feel due to the nature, length and subject of the conference, and the fact that we are also focusing on preparing them for junior high and high school, we are asking the serving ones to only sign up sixth or seventh graders for the conference.

2. One serving one is needed for every three children. If you only have one child coming, it is best if you still send a serving one with him, instead of “lumping” him together with another locality. This would make a deep impression on the young person that you care for them while allowing the serving ones to spend some quality time with him.

3. We hope that at least one of the serving ones would be someone who serves regularly with the Young People’s work in your locality. This will be a help in transitioning the children from Children’s Meeting to the Young People’s work. Serving ones and parents can register online for the conference at http://goo.gl/forms/h4p6JZTN23 .

4. Serving ones and parents who are attending are required to complete a background check if they have not already done so. Additionally, there is a Chaperone Disclosure form that needs to be completed and turned in upon arrival at the camp. Please have a designated serving one for your locality collect all the forms and turn it into the ones serving registration.

5. Registration is due by APRIL 17th. The registration for the parents can be completed online at https://bayareayp.seamlessdocs.com/f/NorCal_6th_Grade . In the weeks prior to the conference, we will provide a separate online registration form for all the localities to complete.

6. The cost for the weekend, including food, is $120 per adult (age 13 or older) and $85 per child (under age 13). The payment for each locality should be written to the Church in Cupertino. Each locality should either bring one check with them for their locality or mail a check beforehand to The Church in Cupertino, PO Box 2908, Cupertino, CA 95014.

7. A conference information form and conference regulations are attached. A copy of these should be given to the parents.

If you have any questions, please contact

Terry Bartek (4152838578) tbartek31@gmail.com or

Martin Yue (4088980212) martin.m.yue@gmail.com .

For His move,
