Dear Leading Brothers,

This is a follow-up email concerning the practical arrangements for the Labor Day Conference. It contains much helpful and practical guidance for how the conference will be conducted and how we can strengthen the leading brothers and the saints to prepare for a corporate God-man speaking to convey the Lord’s burden.

As given in the first email sent on July 20, we have grouped the NorCal churches into 5 Groups, matching them not only on the basis of geography but also balancing the approximate numbers of English-speaking and Chinese-speaking saints so that there is a relatively even distribution of saints for each meeting. The groups of churches are listed below with the message they are responsible for. There are also some brothers in each Group who will be contacting all the churches in their Group to ensure everyone is on the same page and can start preparing right away for participation in the sharing at the conference. The Crystallization-study of Numbers (2) message numbers they are responsible for is given for each Group, as well as the HWMR Week, and a brief title for identification purposes.

Additional Notes:

· The meetings on Friday night and Lord’s Day morning combine all languages in the Grand Ballroom. But the meetings on Saturday morning and evening are by separate languages for English, Chinese, and Spanish, meeting in separate rooms to be designated later.

· Saturday afternoon there will be two meetings, from 4:00-5:00 pm and 5:00-6:00 pm, topics and arrangements to be announced later.

· There will be separate meetings for the young people on Friday evening and Saturday morning and evening. Children’s meeting for Grades 1-6 will be available for all the meetings except Saturday afternoon 4:00-6:00 pm.

· Arrangements are being made for mature brothers to speak a concluding word at the end of each meeting. Groups do not need to make that assignment.

We hope that this arrangement would bring forth the riches of Body from many different saints and churches. We believe that this will cause the Lord’s present speaking to be released to all of Northern California.

From our fellowship, we need to have the saints prepare in a serious way without leaving it to chance. There needs to be adequate time for coaching the saints to speak and release the burden for one minute each. This is possible with some perfecting training. The leading ones should help the saints to pray, prepare, and practice. Different localities may use different times to do this, e.g., Tuesday night after the prayer meeting, LD afternoon, etc. But we want to impress the leading brothers that the saints need to prepare, blending together by praying, preparing, and practicing.

This preparation burden should be a major focus among the churches for the month of August. All the topics are timely. This NorCal conference is to lay a foundation for our going on as the church in Northern California in the next 6 months. Arrangements have been made for some brothers in each group to take responsibility to contact other leading ones in their respective groups to begin the process of preparing.
